I was lepaking at OldTown after 'shopping' for yellow house, sms from Kak Noor begitu mengejutkan. suasana ceria di OldTown hilang. " Ganes passed away..." lost words. weeping.took lrt to go back to school but I was 'lost' -thought i reached sentul but instead titiwangsa!took another lrt.
"hi , cikgu baru kan? I'm Ganesh. welcome to MCKL.hope you happy in this school" he introduced himself. smiling.warm welcome.
itulah kali pertama dia bersuara. a nice guy with sense of humour. lovable.Seorang guru dan rakan yang baik. A good leader.
actually ada banyak kenangan yang tak mungkin boleh lupa tentang Ganes. idk, both of us always , most of the time, in the same group during staff development. to be frank, i always happy if we were in the same group coz i can learn a lot from him. and he always invited me to join him to play football ( as if he knew that i m ' a guy that stuck in girl's body!') and i never say no! " Aza, kenapa ganas sangat..?" gurau Ganes ,bila another man teacher sprained his ankle when he tried to save my penalty kick! both of us couldnt stop laughing! He's good in sports . He won teachers' race and yes, our house, Yellow house was the champion when both of us were the house master/mistress.
I wont forget our trip to Japan.Yes, the first ever our school trip to Japan. He suggested my name to go with him and then asked me to choose another teacher to go with us. dan setiap kali ada lawatan pelajar sama ada dari Japan atau australia , both of us will arrange the program.
Still remember when the Interact Club were allowed to set up a 'project'- a project that allowed the whole school to watch Brazil-England World Cup 2002 in the library( canteen too) and he did 'samba' when Ronaldo scored during Brazil-England world cup 2002. that was the only time we were like 'enemy' coz i supported England!" why support england..no hope la!"

and this morning, went to his funeral. tried not to cry but...couldnt. bila saja melihat Ganes terbaring kaku, that was the time that realized that he's gone.and he still 'smiling' ...
rest in peace. Ganes.
